It is no wonder at all, that with its two hundred bedrooms, exotic gardens, sprawling terraces and majestic pink Liberty-styled facade, Grand Hotel Rimini came to life, very much like an adult with its own set features.
Being Responsible
From the moment of its inauguration in July 1908, it stood out as the most important Mediterranean attraction, fast becoming a holiday destination for the era's jet-set. The building was destroyed by a fire in 1920 and by Second World War bombings, neither of which were able to diminish its fame. Rather, historical events and frequent renovations made it all the more captivating, so much that in 1994, the entire building was declared a National monument and placed under the protection of Fine Arts.
How you will reside
The Grand Hotel Rimini disposes of 117 bedrooms, including three regal suites and nine junior suites that distinguish themselves for their elegance and refinement. The rooms, all spacious and unique, are works of art in interior decoration. Furniture and furnishings are original, with genuine Venetian lamps and splendid 18th Century French parquet flooring.
The lavish decor; graciously and discreetly evokes an air of nostalgia, whilst the vast range of services guarantee every modern-day comfort. All the rooms are equipped with fitted wardrobes, satellite TV, Wi-Fi facilities, mini-bar, and direct dialing telephone.
This perfect combination of luxury and praticality is also reserved for the guests of the "Residenza Parco Fellini", adjacent to the central body of the Hotel, where there are a further 51 rooms (including three junior suites) adorned in Neoclassical style and provided with avant-garde technological equipment.
How you will eat
According to a philosophy that perceives good taste and excellent food as fundamental aspects of o hotel stay, Grand Hotel Rimini offers its guests an exclusive restaurant service, able to satisfy the most demanding palates. The "La Dolce Vita" restautant, decorated in Liberty style and adorned by sumptuos Venetian lamps, Neoclassical architecture and frescoed ceilings is composed of various rooms that can seat up to 600 people.
The "Veranda", the magnificent "Quattro Colonne" ballroom and the other halls all serve a selection of International, Mediterranean and Regional cuisines, prepared with a choice of high quality ingredients. The fresh fish dishes are provercial and the wine selection, pratically infinite, can withstand the test of the best sommelier.
An extensive selection of menus are avaliable to cater for breakfast meetings, brunches, banquets and gala dinners, all rigorously aimed to satisfy guest requirements.
The bar, with autentic 17th Century décor, is situated near the reception and offers an extensive selection of cocktails, beer and prestigious wines (with the choice of à la carte menus). An ideal setting for an occazional snack or simply to enjoy a drink in the company of friends.
The wellness choice
At the Grand Hotel Rimini, two are the DOLCE VITA SPA wellness centres. One is brand new and is located inside the hotel. It can be easily reached from the rooms by means of a dedicated lift. It is equipped with a small swimming pool with water jets and hydromassage, emotional shower, sauna, steam bath, relaxation area, fitness room with Technogym machines, cabines for massages and beauty treatments.
The other one is open in summer months and is located right on the hotel’s beautiful private beach of golden sand. A wooden structure with white muslin curtains guarantee maximum comfort and freshness during the treatments. An evocative environment, by the sea, where beauty treatments and traditional or oriental massages become a unique sensory experience.
