The Enviroment:
Dar Darma is a Palace located of XVIII Century in the old quarter of Moqf in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech and close to the famous Piazza Jemana El-Fna, the heart of the city, a few steps from the Museum of Marrakech and the Medersa Ben Cranial School Youssef. The Palazzo offers total privacy and an atmosphere of great need.
Being Responsible
The dwelling, which covers an area of about 1200 square meters has been restored preserving the valuable elements which decorate its interior: sometimes in hand-painted wood, plaster and precious ancient portals.
Dar Darma is a private dwelling that can offer privacy, low-key services and traditional Moroccan hospitality in a relaxed, exclusive atmosphere.
You can enjoy this experience in the intimate surroundings of your suite, in the relaxation areas or on the terraces with breathtaking views of the Koutoubia Mosque and the Atlas Mountains.
The times for checking in, checking out, breakfast, lunch and dinner are flexible and can be altered to suit your individual needs. Time flows gently here. It follows the rhythm and the needs of the guests.
How you will reside
The four luxury suites and two apartments superbly furnished and sought after in the decorations, have rooms with fireplace, one or two bedrooms with services tested.
The building has large lounges, patio, bath, living rooms with terraces shaded by awnings, swimming pool and a spectacular view that extends up to the Koutoubia Mosque, the Palace of Dar El Bacha and the Atlas Mountains.
How you will eat
Homely meals are all made using fresh ingredients and traditional Moroccan and international recipes.The classic dishes include: harira soup, meat or vegetable tajines, couscous, lemon chicken, freshly baked cakes, and fruit desserts.
Lunches and dinners can be made on request and taken in the dining rooms, on the patios, on the terraces or in the privacy of the suites.
Chef Maria can let you into the secrets of Moroccan recipes during her cooking classes.
The restaurant and cooking lessons are also open to guests that are not staying in the Riad, as long as they make a reservation.
The wellness choice
On request, we can provide massages, ‘gommage’ peeling treatment and facial cleansing inside the hammam or in the privacy of your suite.
For all other treatments, Dar Darma can offer its guests special deals with Les Bains de Marrakech.
Staff will be happy to help you and make reservations on behalf of the clients.
