The 27-hole Almenara golf course, designed by Dave Thomas, winds its way through a spectacular natural landscape featuring two large lakes surrounded by pine and cork oak trees. 148 rooms, 12 of which can be converted into comfortable Junior Suites or Two-Bedroom Suites, are unique spaces woven into a natural setting featuring exceptional characteristics. The room décor, inspired by the beauty of the natural surroundings, creates a warm and comfortable ambience endowed with a refined local flavor. Almenara has 10 two-bedroom suites – two rooms that share a very comfortable living room featuring a sofa bed, television and more. How you will eat
Gaia is a restaurant that offers a different kind of evening experience, both within the dining room and on the terrace, which features one of the best views of Sotogrande. There is also a private terrace for parties of eight, although a reservation is required. A precise menu featuring the local cuisine, Sotogrande offers delightful plates whose presentations rival the fine taste of the dining room décor.
La cabana del mar is the place for fresh fish and seafood all summer long, while The Cucurucho Beach Club has gained a well-deserved reputation as the area’s family gathering place. Its strategic location gives it an exceptional framework and allows for a flexible, family-oriented kitchen adapted to the tastes of both local and international guests

Golf is the principal reason for visiting Almenara: the golf course consists of 27 holes allowing you to enjoy up to three different 18-hole combinations, all with a par of 72, so that each game is a new challenge for the player. The fairways wander among exceptionally beautiful natural landscapes, amidst two large lakes surrounded by pine and cork oak trees, which take on a singular prominence.
There is also a racquet center offering three tennis courts, four fontains courts, eight paddleball courts and one glass-walled paddleball. From Easter Season through the end of summer, polo is a spectator sport and the fields become a bastion of celebrity spotting; it’s also possible to enjoy water sports: Underwater fishing, tuna fishing, deep-sea sport fishing, private yacht rental, motorboat rental, jet ski rental, windsurfing sailing, sailing and snorkeling lessons.
